Holiday Mini Sessions

Holy Cow! What on earth happened to October? It flew by and now the holidays are almost upon us. This year I’m offering special mini sessions. They are fun quick photo shoots that are great for updating your family pictures. So here’s the deal:

$99 for mini session includes

• 30 minutes of shooting time
• 1 fully edited image for printing
• 1 digital image ready to share on social media
• 10-15 images in a spiral bound proof book for viewing

I have opening starting the November 19th.

Las Vegas Photographer, Sisters

This goes WAY back. In May my dear photo friend gathered a couple of us and we went out to Red Rock to explore some new places. We took two beautiful sister with us. Kamille is the dark burrunte with the amazing blue eyes and her sister Rozslin.

It was AMAZING!

Las Vegas Children’s Photographer, My little Hawklet

My little kindergartner is about to graduate! UGH!! How did the year go so fast? Class of 2023… goodness that makes me feel old!

We had the amazing opportunity of attending the North West Career and Technical Academy’s kindergarten program this year. It’s been awesome! Riley has loved going there, he loves his teachers and he loves his “big friends” the high school students. NWCTA is a high school, and they have an early childhood development program. The high school students and teachers help run the program with specials taught by the high school teachers (music, library and P.E.) and extra small groups run by the high students. The mascot of the school is the hawk, so they called their little kindergartners the hawkletts!  So, here is my little hawklet in his cute cap and gown!

 

Beautiful Models: Erin Hatch Photo shoot, Dry Lake Beds

My dear crazy photo friend Erin Hatch decided it would be fun to grab a couple of fellow photographers, some cute models, and check out the dry lake beds near Jean, Nevada. It was such a fun adventure, not for the faint of heart (just kidding Erin!) It was an amazing shoot! So much fun to meet other photographers in the area, and have the chance to take pictures of people who aren’t afraid of the camera! What a blast! What a setting! It was so beautiful! These pictures were so much fun to edit!  Thanks Erin for setting everything up!

This is my amazing cousin Mariah McBride. She is a blast to work with!  The picture below is my favorite of the whole shoot!

The is Denise Escobar. She just got home from a trip to Florida with a gorgeous tan! She was so cute. She couldn’t stop smiling! The clothes were so fun out there, they really popped!

These two girls are so beautiful! They were a joy to shoot and I was so grateful for the chance to do so!

This was a fun little informal group of pictures I took at our family’s annual Easter egg hunt. My niece wanted this special picture. There are 12 years between her mom and her aunt, 12 years between her aunt and her, and 12 years between her and my littlest girl. Kind of funny huh? Anyway, it was fun to finally have everyone in the same place!

I also snagged my youngest nephew for a quick couple of shots. He is so cute! And such amazing eyes!

I got my little band of kidos and braved an afternoon in their brand new Easter clothes in the grass. I was so excited about how these turned out! It was a challenge, but with kids you never know what you are going to get!

Las Vegas Children’s Photographer, New places to shoot

So, I took the little girls to check out a place to take pictures. It was as amazing as I had hoped! This is my FAVORITE one from the outing!

Gorgeous Couple!

About a month ago, I went on a fun shoot with Robert and Mariah. They are a super cool couple. They have wonderful chemistry. Mariah has been doing some modeling and is amazing! I went with my great photo buddies Celise and Erin down to Lake Las Vegas. It was so fun. We sent 2 hours trying different locations and poses. It was a GREAT day :)

 

Catching up, Joy of Love Class Days: 11,12

Ok, so work got in the way. But here we go:

Day 11: Dreams. Riley dreams of one day having his own horse. He’s saving up for one.. 

Day 12: Eyes. You needed to get a close up on your loved one eyes.

Joy of Love, Day 9 and 10

 

Day 9's prompt was “passions and hobbies” This one was kinda tricky. In the end, however, Riley’s passion for horses has been an on going thing since he was about 2 (ok, he was a few months from two). I honestly thought that he would grow out of it, but no so much.

This is Riley with some of his “herd”. He loves his toy horses, riding horses, reading about horses.

Day 10 was where they feel comfortable. This was another tricky on for me. Plus everyone has been sick, which makes my brain not work so well. Then this morning when the two older kids were snuggling in our bed, it dawned on me:

This is where they feel the most comfortable! Snuggled up with Mommy and Daddy, watching some random cartoon. Life is sweet.

Joy of Love Day 8

R made me a valentine. He never has before. He wasn’t a kid that was into painting, drawing or cutting. Kindergarten has been a true growing adventure for him. I can’t believe the changes in him!  It’s been quite the adjustment having him gone all day. But he is much sweeter with me and his sisters now that he isn’t stuck with us all the time! He cut out the heart, colored it and glued it. There is also a sweet note (that I can almost understand) inside:

Today I had fun with cute high school students. It was tons of fun! I’ll post some of the cute individual poses I captured latter, But I thought the group shoot turned out pretty good.

Joy of Love, Day 7

Generations.

This summer while my hubby studied for the Bar exam (yuck) I spent the time with my grandparents. The day we left we took this cool picture:

This is a four generation picture. My grandma, mom, me and my girls! Yes the lighting is a bit harsh, but I wanted to capture this time with them!

This is most of my cousins, aunts, and uncles on my dad’s side of the family. It amazing to me how a family can grow from just two people to this!

Joy of Love Day 6

What they LOVE. I thought about this… and the first thing that came to mind was: BUNNY!  Life is just not good without Bunny. Little E got bunny at build a bear workshop when she was about 6 months old. It just kinda hung out in her crib. When we moved her from the crib to a big bed, the bunny came too. Bunny hadn’t become “BUNNY” yet. He was just always there in her bed so we moved him there. Then when baby B wanted to come early and the doctors put me on bed rest for 2 weeks, my wonderful in law took Little E and R. The kids stayed at grandma’s house for almost 2 weeks. Bunny went with… and became security. And thus, when baby B was born so was Bunny!

Joy of Love, Day 5

Today prompt was “Love to hate!” My mind went right to my sweet hubby. He is the most supportive guy, and loves me dearly. But there are two things that I love/hate about him… the computer and da piles! We fight over who has the computer. Not fight as much as whenever I want to use it, it always seems he is on it. I LOVE that he can pretty much fix most of my computer problems, and helps me tons. But sometimes… lol.

And then there are the piles… it is an up hill battle to keep our home de-cluttered. And I am to blame too. But that was the very first thing that bugged me as a newly wed. There were piles everywhere. I guess if that is the only thing you have to complain about, things are really very good! I love my sweet, and am so grateful for his support in all the craziness that is our life! I am learning to live with the piles!

Joy of Love, Day 4

“What they wear” was today’s topic. I thought imidatly of R. He is all boy! And yet he loves he's baby doll. He’s going to make a great daddy someday. What R loves to wear most is:

He LOVES his boots! And he loves his little sister. He shared his old boots with her. It was so cute!

Joy of Love, Day 3

Today’s assignment was “Then and Now” I can’t think of a more dramatic one then our little E. She started out so small and sick. And you would never know that now! The picture on the bottom made me think of an angel.
